Frequently asked

What to look for, answered plainly.

The questions worth asking any data and AI partner, and how febelabs answers them.

What should you look for in a data and AI partner?

Four things. Whether you own what they build: the data foundation, the code, and the roadmap should be yours to keep. Whether the work is governed and auditable. Whether they charge for outcomes instead of seats or billable hours. And whether they have shipped real systems in production, not just slide decks. febelabs is built around all four: you own your data foundation outright, every agent action is logged and defensible, you pay per completed outcome, and our work runs in production today.

Is febelabs a training program, course, or bootcamp?

No. febelabs is a data and AI strategy firm. We stand up the data foundation your institution owns, compose the capabilities you need on top of it, and deploy agents that do the work. Team enablement is included in engagements, but febelabs is not a course, certificate, or bootcamp. There is no tuition, cohort, or job-placement model.

Do we keep ownership of our data and what gets built?

Yes. Data sovereignty is the whole premise. The data foundation, the code, the knowledge graph, and the roadmap ship with the engagement and are yours to keep. No hostage data, no lock-in.

How is febelabs priced?

By outcome, not by seat, license, or hour. A completed workflow is the unit you pay for. If the outcome does not happen, you do not pay for it, which keeps our incentives aligned with yours.

How do we try febelabs without a large commitment?

We scope a single high-friction workflow, prove it on your own governed data, and bill for that outcome. You see finished work before committing to anything broader. That is our version of a risk-free pilot.

Is our data secure, governed, and auditable?

Yes. Every agent action is logged, every consent is enforced, and every decision is defensible to a regulator. For regulated institutions like universities, health systems, and law firms, governance is built in, not bolted on.

How is febelabs different from a large consulting firm?

We are a boutique alternative to big generalist firms. Instead of a large team billing hours against a nine-month implementation, a small senior team plus an agentic fabric delivers finished outcomes on the data you already own, and you keep the system at the end.

Who is febelabs for?

Data-intensive, regulated organizations: universities and higher-education systems, health systems, and professional services firms including law firms. If you are paying to rent access to data you already own and want to put agents to work on it, you are who we built this for.

What proof do you have that this works?

Our work is in production. At Maryville University, transfer-credit evaluations that used to take weeks now run in about a minute on the university’s own governed data, and the system has driven real enrollments. Our team has shipped regulated platforms for decades, including an IBM Master Inventor with more than 400 patents, and operators from Salesforce, the University of Texas System, the U.S. Department of Defense, and BurstIQ.
